Wave Company Hosts Tech Seminar for University of North Texas (UNT) Winter Study Abroad Program
| Showcasing Proprietary Materials ElecSil·TracSil and AI-Powered Fitness Solution ‘TracMe’
SEOUL, South Korea – On January 8, 2026, Wave Company (CEO Nancy Cho) hosted a corporate seminar as part of the "Winter Study Abroad 25–26 South Korea" program for students and faculty from the University of North Texas (UNT).
This program is a winter study abroad initiative designed to provide U.S. university students with hands-on experience in South Korea's industrial and technological sectors. Wave Company participated as a key enterprise representing the advanced functional materials and smart healthcare industry.
Held at Wave Company’s headquarters, the seminar provided participants with a firsthand experience of the company’s core technologies: ElecSil® and TracSil® functional silicone materials. Attendees also participated in a live demonstration of ‘TracMe,’ an AI-based exercise analysis solution that utilizes these proprietary materials.
ElecSil and TracSil are Wave Company’s core original technologies, characterized by their dual properties of flexibility and electrical conductivity. These materials are highly versatile and applicable across various sectors, including wearable devices, biosensors, and smart apparel. The seminar went beyond a simple product introduction, sharing insights into the broad scalability of the technology—from human movement data collection and physiological response analysis to innovative product design.
During the TracMe session, Wave Company’s data-driven healthcare approach, which offers personalized exercise recommendations and real-time feedback based on movement data, garnered significant interest. Students had the opportunity to wear the products themselves, gaining a practical understanding of how advanced technology translates into an enhanced user experience (UX).
A representative from the University of North Texas remarked, “It was deeply impressive to see how a technology-driven Korean company expands its scope from material development to finished products and digital services. It was a meaningful experience for our students to gain such a deep understanding of the actual industrial field.”
“This program was a great opportunity to share Wave Company’s technology and vision through academic exchange with a global university,” said a representative from Wave Company. “We will continue to drive social value and technological scalability through ongoing collaborations with global educational and research institutions.”
Wave Company continues to accelerate its expansion into the global sports, healthcare, rehabilitation, and wellness markets, powered by its functional silicone material technology and AI-driven healthcare solutions.
