📄 TracMe Limited Warranty

Effective Date: 2025-08-01

 

Wave Company, Ltd (“Wave Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this limited warranty to original purchasers of the TracMe device and related accessories (“Product(s)”) purchased through our authorized channels in South Korea.

1. What This Limited Warranty Covers


We warrant that the TracMe hardware device is free from defects in
materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of
one (1) year from the original date of retail purchase (“Warranty
Period”).


If a product defect covered under this warranty occurs within the
Warranty Period, Wave Company will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the Product free of charge;

  • Replace the Product with a new or refurbished unit; or

  • Refund the original purchase price.

This warranty is provided in accordance with the Korea Fair Trade
Commission's Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards
and relevant
South Korean consumer protection laws.

3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear, including degradation from washing, sweat,
    or friction

  • Cosmetic issues such as scratches, fading, or minor blemishes

  • Accidental damage or misuse (e.g., water immersion, dropping,
    excessive force)

  • Unauthorized modification or repair

  • Damage from improper handling or external factors

  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or second-hand
    channels

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To file a warranty claim, please contact our customer support at contact-global@waveconmpany.net/+82 010-4044-7331 and provide:

  • Proof of purchase

  • A detailed description of the issue

  • Photo or video documentation of the defect

If your claim is approved, we will arrange a free return and replacement or
repair. For valid warranty claims, Wave Company covers shipping costs
both ways.

5. Replacement and Repurchase Policy

if your issue is not covered under this Limited Warranty (e.g., due to user
error or post-warranty), you may repurchase replacement parts at the
following prices:

Component : Price (USD)

TracMe Device (1 unit) : $30

Sensor Sleeve (1 unit) : $30

Charging Cable : $8

6. Legal Rights

This warranty is provided in accordance with South Korean laws, including:

  • Consumer Protection Act

  • E-Commerce Consumer Protection Guidelines

  • Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards as announced by the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC)

Consumers may be entitled to additional legal rights under these statutes.
These rights are not affected by this Limited Warranty.


In cases where the product defect cannot be repaired or reoccurs, the
consumer may be entitled to a full refund or product exchange according
to local regulations.
